Regional artists are invited to submit their work for the first Open West Midlands, taking place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery this summer. Artists from throughout the region (incorporating Birmingham, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire) can submit 2D, 3D or time based artworks.
Open is a biennial collaboration between Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and Wolverhampton Art Gallery, celebrating the vibrant talent of the art scene in the West Midlands and allowing regional artists the chance to show their work at these prestigious venues.
Submissions are welcome from both emerging and established artists throughout the region. Work submitted will be judged on individual merit and not based on previous art work or exhibition experience.
